Talent Developer, Central Division
One of three Talent and Development colleagues joining the event, Hayley is contagiously passionate about learning and boasts over 25 years’ experience. Hayley has a strong background management and leadership development, and coaching. Before Maximus, Hayley held similar roles at Bupa, Nestle, and Alliance and Leicester.
Emma-Jane Banister
Customer Director, Assessments Division
Emma-Jane joined us 5 years ago and is currently our Customer Director, Assessments. She has a track record in developing effective relationships, operational management and delivering solutions to customer challenges.

David Ross
Technology Innovation Lead, Central Division
David arrived at Maximus earlier this year and with a strong background in technology, having previously worked for BT and Vodafone. David now leads all things innovation and has played a key role in supporting the development of ideas via recent spark tank events. Outside of work, David has started a business to improve collaboration in workshops and meetings.

Mo joined Maximus in 2021 and works in the Talent and Development Team. He’s dedicated and passionate and boasts nearly thirteen years’ experience in the learning and development industry. Mo consults, designs, delivers, and evaluates learning solutions for our managers and senior leaders.

Head of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Central Division
Amber is our Head of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) and an award-winning DE&I and wellbeing expert. Joining in May 2022, Amber previously held senior DE&I positions within civil service departments, such as Department of Health and Social Care and Government Equalities Office. Amber is passionate about enabling organisations with people from diverse backgrounds to excel.
Emma McGuigan
DEI Specialist, Central Division
Emma, our DEI Specialist in Communications and Engagement, joined Maximus in 2018, with a background as a Chatbot Developer in the Digital Team and Customer Coordinator in our Employability Division. Her journey from leveraging Behavioural Science Principles in marketing automation to spearheading DEI innovations reflects a blend of her passions in technology innovation as well as transforming DEI practices at Maximus. Emma is also the current Vice Chair of MaxWomen and has been on the board since 2020.

Gethin Nadin
Benefex
Gethin is CIO at Benefex and has worked in HR Tech for more than 20 years. He’s a multi-award winning Psychologist, member of the All Party Parliamentary Committee on the Future of Employability and a frequent speaker, guest lecturer and writer on the subjects of global wellbeing, engagement, HR, employee experience, benefits and financial wellbeing.

The newest member of our Country Leadership Team, Adam joined Maximus in July 2023, bringing 30 years’ industry experience and a solid background in client relationship management, go-to-market strategy development, and operational delivery.

Fiona is responsible for all aspects of Technology across our UK operations ensuring we have the right technology to deliver services to our customers.

Managing Director, Health Division
Margaret joined the business in 2020. She was appointed Managing Director for our Health Division after serving as Chief Operating Officer and Co-chair for the Inclusion and Diversity board.

Joining the business in 2015, Martin oversees all external communications and marketing, including public affairs and stakeholder relations.

Gareth joined Remploy in July 1988 and has progressed through the business in many different roles, culminating in his appointment as Programme Director in 2015.
Natira Fletcher
Health Care Practitioner, Assessments Division
Working as a Health Care Practitioner in our Assessments Division, Natira has been with Maximus since 2017. Natira was recently awarded the Rising Star Award this year’s Clinical Conferences for her hard work, dedication, and customer focused approach.
Yusuf McKenzie
Restart customer
Yusuf is a customer of Maximus and joined the Restart scheme in July 2023. Stela, an Employment Advisor who’s also joining our event alongside Yusuf, supported him with his job search and building a winning CV. As a result, Yusuf has found work and is currently a residential support worker.
Charis Green
Head of Community Partnerships, Employability Division, and Maximus Foundation Chair and Trustee
Charis joined Maximus in 2008 and worked various roles within the Remploy contract. Charis worked her way up and took on the role of Head of Community Partnerships in 2021. Passionate about working with people, Charis is also Chair and Trustee of Maximus Foundation and plays a key role in transforming lives via our charity arm.
Stela Chira
Employment Advisor, Employability Division
One of our Employment Advisors in Newham, Stela joins Leaders’ Live as support for Yusuf, one of our many Restart successes. In Stela’s year-and-a-half at Maximus, she’s helped transform many lives, including Yusuf’s.
Danielle Lowe
Client Relationship Manager, Connect Division
Danielle’s spent 8 years at Connect and is a front line and service user expert, thanks to doing ‘everything and anything’ around the contact centre, from team leading to client development. Working alongside some of the UKs largest charities, such as Mind and The British Red Cross, Danielle’s role mostly involves exploring how Connect can adapt and develop to the ever-changing needs of its service users.
Paul Rossiter
Men's Health & Wellbeing Lead (Gutless Programme)
Paul joined BeeZee Bodies in 2021 and is the Men's Health & Wellbeing Lead, responsible for the Gutless Programme. Gutless is a weight loss and behaviour change course for men, teaching them about nutrition and behavioural science to help them take charge of their health, without giving up the things they love.
Shammy Singh
Customer Service Representative, Assessments Division
Shammy joined Maximus in 2021 and believes in delivering excellent customer service whilst doing as much as possible to achieve the best end result for everyone. His previous experience includes 21 years in retail at B&M where he honed his customer service skills and faced the challenge of Covid-19 on the front line.

Before Maximus, Elaine worked for BMI Healthcare, Cadburys, and Marriott Hotels. Elaine’s passionate about people and has recently been instrumental in improving our colleague onboarding.
Leaha Jones
Head of Contact Centre Services, Connect Division
Leaha joined Connect in 2012 straight from university. Leaha’s worked her way up to Head of Contact Centre Services and is now responsible for almost 200 people, as well as leading the overall running of our Connect contact centres.
Maz Masum
Business Manager, Employability Division
Having joined Maximus in 2020, Maz works as a Business Manager from in our Havering office in East London. Maz is one of our top-performing managers with an 85% score in this year’s engagement survey. Maz manages a team of five and has recently taken on 18 more colleagues.
Penny Arnold
UK Business Support Director, Central Division
Penny is our UK Business Support Director and has been with us for over 5 years. She’s a passionate chair of the MaxWomen Network and also DEI Business Lead. Penny has a wealth of experience in commercial operations in the leisure and wellbeing sector
Guy Venables
Chief Operating Officer, Employability Division
Guy is our Chief Operating Officer and joined us almost 3 years ago. Guy is responsible for 29 contracts across the UK and 1,800 colleagues. He has a track record of excellence in operational management and leadership within Public Sector Contracting and service delivery.
